Description

Herrera Province is located in the Azuero Peninsula to about 4 hours from Panama City, bordered on the north by the provinces of Veraguas and Cocle, south of the province of Los Santos, on the east by the Gulf of Parita and Los Santos province and west of the province of Veraguas.
It is the country's smallest province with an area of 2340.7 square kilometers.
It has a population of 109,371 inhabitants. However, it has a rich natural forest parks, beaches, green, hot springs and much more.
In this province celebrates folk traditions through events like: The carnival of the Berraquera in Chitre, The Festival of Sugar Cane Pesé and the famous festival of Manito in Ocu. All these festivities are famous for their indigenous value.
