Description

This day is for nature lovers, especially for those who enjoy bird watching. If you are staying at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort you could take the tour directly from there. If you need transport check out our rates.
The Pipeline Road is on the Soberania National Park, an area that belongs to the Panama Canal Watershed. These forests demarcate the living area of 385 bird species, number counted in 24 hours in 1985 during the Christmas Bird Count, organized by the Society Adubón of Panama setting a new Guinness record. Currently, the Pipeline road is also the subject of scientific research including studies on plants, insects, reptiles and mammals. Our naturalist guide will share the secrets of the rain forest while walking along the Pipeline Road. As this is an outdoor activity in the tropics, it is recommended to wear light clothing, suitable walking shoes, insect repellent, hat and sunscreen. Binoculars are essential.
