SOME MONTHS AGO THE CHRONICLE PUBLISHED AN ARTICLE SAYING THAT PANAMA WAS THE EQUAL OF COSTA RICA FOR JUNGLE TOURS AND BIRD WATCHING, AND WAS LESS EXPENSIVE. BASED ON YOUR ARTICLE WE FLEW TO PANAMA IN APRIL FOR 1 WEEK AND HAD A GREAT TIME.
WE BOOKED OUR LOCAL PANAMA TRIPS THRU NATASHA YOUNG (natassha@gopanamaonline.com), AND SHE WAS WONDERFUL, BY FAR THE BEST TRAVEL AGENT WE'VE EVER HAD. OUR HOTEL (THE COUNTRY INN AT THE CANAL) WAS A MINI-SUITE WITH A BALCONY THAT OVERLOOKED THE ENTRANCE TO THE CANAL, AND COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A BETTER HOTEL OR ROOM,
THE HALF DAY TRIP THRU THE CANAL WAS PERFECT, GOING THRU 3 LOCKS TO GAMBOA, WITH A BUS TRIP BACK TO PANAMA. THE BIRD WALK THRU THE RAIN FOREST AND THE TRAM RIDE OVER IT WERE PRODUCTIVE. WE SAW MANY BIRDS, HOWLER MONKEYS, FLOWERS AND MORE.
NATASHA IS YOUNG, OWNS THE TRAVEL AGENCY HERSELF AND IS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL. SHE AND HER BROTHER PERSONALLY ESCORTED US ON MOST OF THE SIDE TRIPS AND HELPED US FIND GOOD RESTAURANTS ETC. IT WAS ALMOST LIKE HAVING A RELATIVE TO SHOW YOU AROUND.
PANAMA IS COMFORTABLE TO VISIT (EXCEPT FOR THE HUMIDITY AND HEAT, HOVERING BETWEEN 70 AND 95 YEAR ROUND) ENGLISH IS COMMON, OUR DOLLARS ARE THE NORMAL COINAGE, AND THE WATER IS PERFECTLY SAFE TO DRINK.
IF ANYONE CHOOSES TO GO TO PANAMA I HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND BOTH THE HOTEL AND NATASHA, THEY BOTH WERE PERFECT FOR US.
I AM TRYING TO FORWARD A PICTURE OF A SHIP ENTERING THE CANAL, TAKEN FROM OUR BALCONY. THEY WERE VERY CLOSE FOR WATCHING.

I holidayed in Panama for 2 weeks with my daughter. As a Canadian I had to
rely on someone to line up the holiday as we were not familiar with Panama.

Hola Natassha,
La verdad es que estamos todos muy bien, el viaje de vuelta fué un poco pesado por largo pero no tuvimos ningun problema, solo un poco de retraso en la salida de N.Y. por que tuvieron que descongelar el avión (nunca lo habiamos visto).
A la llegada a casa todos y todo muy bien, ya teniamos ganas de ver a nuestros hijos. Y en el trabajo lo de siempre, te vas de vacaciones unos dias y cuando llegas tienes mas trabajo del habitual por tener temas atrasados de los dias que hemos estado fuera, pero la verdad es que merece la pena.
Y de Panamá que contar... quedamos encantados, lo hemos pasado realmente bien, todo ha salido perfecto y nos han quedado muchas ganas de volver. Este fin de semana vamos a cenar juntos para ver las fotografias y comentarlas y asi nos sentimos por un rato de nuevo en Panamá.
Muchas gracias a todos vosotros por el trato que nos disteis, muy profesional y a la vez muy cercano y familiar, nos sentimos muy comodos en vuestra compañia. Cuando llegue tu padre de San Blas nos gustaria contactar con el pues no pudimos despedirnos y la verdad es que pasamos unos ratos muy agradables con el.
Un abrazo muy fuerte para todos y sabed tambien que en España tienen tambien unos amigos para lo que haga falta.

Muchas gracias por todo! pasamos un día increible con Nico y con Diana, realmente quede encantada y convidada a volver por más tiempo. llegue con suficiente tiempo al vuelo y hasta me quedo tiempo de comprar los juegos que no encontre en albroock.
Les felicito y pronto les escribo para contarles un poco más de mi trabajo por acá y ver como podemos tener mejor contacto.
